Introduction

The Junior National Cup was a national knock-out tournament that was established in 1945 for U-18 players. Open to club sides from 1945-47, it became an association representative competition from 1948 to 1972. From 1973, it reverted to a club competition - until abandonment after 1979.

Rangers won the competition in 1976 & 1977.
