Lincoln University
In 2006, Rangers AFC signed a partnership arrangement with Lincoln University, providing benefits for both parties.
Opportunities for students
Our Club, with a proud history in Canterbury soccer, provides the opportunity for players attending the University to be involved in local competitions and, if numbers permit, a team may be entered from Rangers consisting completely of Lincoln students.
Benefits for the Club
Rangers has access to students at the University, including:
- those from overseas;
- students from around New Zealand;
- and scholarship players.
Rangers also has access to the top quality facilities that Lincoln University has to offer, as well as the expert advice from trainers.
Early interaction
Rangers' Development Officer, Mike de Bono, in early 2006, attended the University's Club Day and conducted a training session at the campus.
